The hardest part of waiting for a molt is watching them want to eat but not be able to. It's sad. I can't imagine what crabs endure. The molting process is long and difficult. It breaks my heart. Put yourself in a crab's shell for a moment. Imagine being hungry but you physically can't eat 😭 There's no room left in her shell. Once her body starts producing the ecdysteroids necessary for molting, her drive to eat will go away. Until then, Winny will still try to eat. This is all normal behavior
